The present petition raises a grievance as regards alleged illegal and unauthorised construction at property bearing no.

E-9, Khasra No.116/114/107, Batla House, Muradi Road, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi-110025, admeasuring 200 sq. yards.

Learned counsel for the MCD, who appears on advance notice, submits that a demolition order qua the said unauthorized construction has been passed on 09.02.2024.

He further submits that appropriate action for removal of the alleged illegal and unauthorised construction shall be expeditiously taken, and in any event, within a period of six weeks from today. Taking the aforesaid statement on record and binding the respondent/MCD thereto, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.

The concerned SHO, PS Jamia Nagar is directed to provide the necessary assistance to the MCD for the purpose of any action that is proposed to be taken by the MCD.
