The learned counsel appearing for the state accepts notice.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on parole.

The petitioner states that he had filed an application seeking parole on 20.01.2020. However, the same has not been considered, as yet. 4.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to direct the concerned authorities to consider the petitioner's application for parole, if not already done and communicate the decision as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of two weeks from today. It is so directed.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.
