The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "Pass an appropriate writ, order or direction for registration of FIR for initiating criminal proceeding against the trespassers, erring local police officials of P.S. Gulabi Bagh and erring officials of respondent No.1/Northern Railway and direct the respondents to remove the unauthorized occupants from the Govt. own land bearing Khasra No.830/756/519, measuring 01 Bigha and 13 Biswa (1700 sq. yards approx.) situated at Baghichi Peer Ji, Adil Shahi Garden

Land, Sabzi Mandi, Near Metro Station, Pratap Nagar, Delhi- 110007;"

Ms Vohra, learned ASC appearing for the State submits that it is apparent that the petition is in the nature of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) as the petitioner has no private interest in the matter. She further submits that if the petitioner is aggrieved by non-filing of the FIR on a complaint, the petitioner has an equally efficacious remedy available under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain this petition. The same is disposed of. The pending applications are also disposed of.

It is clarified that all rights and contentions of the petitioner are reserved. It is open for the petitioner to avail of appropriate remedies. 5.
