O R D E R

% 01.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are related to each other. They are living in the same locality. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of the FIR No.359/2012 under Sections 323/341/34 IPC at Police Station Alipur, on the complaint of respondent no. 2.

With the interventions of elders in the family, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Manoj of police station Alipur.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is also on record at pages 16 and 17, wherein she has stated that she has settled the dispute with the petitioners and she has no objection if the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, FIR No.359/2012 under Sections 323/341/34 IPC registered at Police Station Alipur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
