The present petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the operation of a liquor shop under the name and style of "Govt. Wine & Beer Shop" located at F-17, Main Loni Road, Gokulpur, Delhi-110094. The petitioner contends that the said shop is situated in a locality where it is inconducive to have a liquor shop 2.

It is pointed out that many Hospitals, Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutes, Temples, Mosques and Gurudwaras are established in the same locality.

Further, it is pointed out that the Liquor Shop is located nearby Govt. Senior Secondary School, which is less than 100 Mts. from the school. It is submitted that in the said school around 500 boys and 500 girls are getting education in double shift.

This Court is not inclined to issue a mandamus in the nature sought by the petitioner.
