This is an application seeking urgent hearing of the petition. The ground urged by Mr. Bhargava, learned counsel for the petitioners is that the respondents in their counter-affidavit, more particularly in para 5 under the heading Preliminary Submission and Objections have stated that the next cadre review is due during 2024. He submits that in view of this stand of the respondents, the petition be disposed of. By taking the stand, taken by the respondents in para 5 of the counter-affidavit, on record, the writ petition and the application are disposed of.
