The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner- M/s Pavani Kondeti through Special Power of Attorney holder Mr. Parvez Malik inter alia challenging the detention of two gold items i.e. two gold kadas , weighing 150 grams, detained vide Detention Receipt No. 18631 dated 5th July 2024 (New Detention Receipt No. 26632 dated 30th July 2024). 3.

The Petitioner was travelling to India on 5th July, 2024 from Saudi Arabia. The case of the Petitioner is that till date, no show cause notice has been issued and, hence the goods are liable to be released. 4.

Mr. Harpreet Singh, ld. Senior Standing Counsel submits that the Petitioner has signed the waiver of show cause notice and the Order-inOriginal is likely to be passed very soon. Further, it is submitted that the said waiver of show cause notice was signed through the ld. counsel of the Petitioner.
