W.P.(C) No.691/2016 This Public Interest petition has been filed alleging inaction on the part of the respondent Nos.1 to 4 in taking steps for removal of the unauthorized encroachments and renovation of dilapidated drains and roads in various colonies of Ward No.31 of North Delhi Municipal Corporation. It is also pleaded that though the petitioner made a detailed representation on 30.11.2015, the respondents failed to respond. Sh.Sanjoy Ghose, the learned ASC appeared on advance notice on behalf of the respondent Nos.1, 3 & 4.

Ms.Monika Arora, the learned standing counsel for NDMC is also present.

Having heard the learned counsel for both the parties, we consider it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the complaint/representation dated 30.11.2015 made by the

petitioner (filed as Annexure P-7 to the writ petition) and to take necessary steps in accordance with law expeditiously.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
