By way of the present application, the applicant seeks grant of interim bail for a period of 04 weeks in case arising out of FIR bearing No. 241/2024, registered at Police Station Narela, New Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 302/363/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 5.

The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant has a minor daughter, 'Y', who has recently been admitted to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Nursery Class at G.R. International School, Pooth Khurd, Delhi, and the admission formalities, including submission of requisite documents and payment of fees amounting to ₹12,150/-, are still pending. It is submitted that due to his judicial custody, the applicant is unable to arrange the said amount within the stipulated period. It is further submitted that the applicant's father is presently undergoing treatment at a de-addiction centre and is medically unfit to manage family responsibilities. It is stated that there is no other competent person in the family to complete the admission formalities or arrange the necessary funds.

Learned counsel further submits that the applicant is the sole earning member of the family, and his incarceration has caused considerable hardship to his dependent family members, who have no connection with the alleged offence. It is also submitted that the applicant has no previous criminal antecedents and has earlier been granted interim bail on multiple occasions, during which he complied with all conditions imposed upon him and surrendered within time. He further states that the applicant has remained in judicial custody for more than two years. It is, therefore, prayed that interim bail be granted to the applicant.

The documents pertaining to the treatment of the applicant's father, as well as the admission form and pending fee bills of the applicant's daughter, have been placed on record.

On instructions from the concerned I.O., the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State opposes the present application and submits that the applicant has two other brothers who can take care of his father and family responsibilities.

placed on record, the period of custody undergone by the applicant, and the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the applicant, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant for a period of two weeks from the date of his release, subject to the following conditions: (i) The applicant shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Successor Court/Link Court/Duty Judge concerned.

(ii) The applicant shall surrender his passport, and will not leave the country during this period.

(iii) The applicant shall also provide his mobile number to the Jail Superintendent, as well as I.O./S.H.O. concerned, which shall be kept operational at all times.

(iv) The applicant shall immediately surrender after the expiry of the period of interim bail before the concerned jail authority. (v) The applicant shall not indulge in any criminal activity during the period of interim bail.

Accordingly, the present interim bail application stands disposed of. 10.
