O R D E R

% 20.01.2017 Petitioner No.1 is the husband of petitioner No.2; whereas petitioner Nos. 2 to 6 are the relatives of petitioner No.1. It is submitted that the husband and wife have resolved their disputes amicably and are living together since 20th October, 2016 at House No.D-29, Second Floor, Jhilmil Colony, Delhi 110095. Affidavit of respondent no.2 has been filed. Respondent no.2 is also present in Court and has been identified by SI Om Prakash of police station Jagat Puri. She admits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 have resolved their differences and have started living together, inasmuch as,

respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 0206/16 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Jagat Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
