Mr. Jayant K Sud, Senior counsel for respondent, has pointed out that an order was passed by the Division Bench of this Court in NHPC Ltd v. Sh. Rajendra Alexander, LPA No. 282/2025 vide order dated 08th May 2025, as per the following terms:

This was in context of the directions which were passed by the Single Judge in Rajendra Alexander & Ors. v. Union of India & Anr. 2025:DHC:625, passed on 03rd February 2025, which is extracted as under: 3.

Accordingly, they have issued a circular (Circular No.11/2025) dated 20th May 2025, which records as under:

Counsel for petitioners points out that for petitioners to take the benefit of the Retired Employees' Health Scheme (REHS), they have to have an access to the online portal which is being operated by NHPC. 5.

However, it transpires that the said portal is partly functional and there is a technical glitch which was discovered during deliberations between the petitioners and Mr. Saurabh Gaur, Senior Manager Legal, who is present in Court.

Accordingly, it has been agreed that the said technical glitch shall be rectified on or before 23rd May 2025, in order that it may be accessible to the petitioners.

As regards the renewal of REHS medical cards is concerned, same shall be supplied to petitioners, as and when they approach the concerned official.

Mr. Jayant Sud, Senior Counsel for respondents, on instructions, states that there shall be no impediment in renewal of cards. 9.

These cards shall be issued to petitioners by respective Regional Offices.

Mr. Ritesh Khatri, counsel for petitioner, and all other petitioners who are present in Court shall inform other parties concerned; about the orders of the Court so that they can take the benefit of this restored position expeditiously.

on 12th November 2025, this contempt petition is disposed of. 12.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the petition if there is any continued infraction.
