Criminal Petition under Section 528 BNSS has been filed for quashing of FIR No.137/2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of The Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S.Harsh Nagar in view of the Settlement dated 27.03.2018.

divorce has already been granted by mutual consent vide Decree dated 27.11.2018. An amount of ₹2.5 lakhs for the past, present and future alimony has also been received by her.

In view of the Settlement which is endorsed by the parties, the FIR No.137/2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC and 4 of The Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S.Harsh Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. The parties shall remain bound by the terms of the Settlement.
