The present petition has been filed by Ms. Beervati seeking compensation of Rs.8,25,000/- in terms of Schedule appended with Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (in short 'SCST Act') 2.
Fact remains that she lost her son in one murder case for which FIR No.11/2017 has already been registered under Section 302/307/34 IPC and under Section 27 Arms Act, 1959 which is pending adjudication and is listed for prosecution's evidence.
3.
It is, however, noticed that there is no appearance from the side of the petitioner for last three dates and today also there is no appearance from the side of the petitioner.
4.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that compensation is not payable even otherwise, as no case under SCST Act has been registered against anyone. 5.
Be that as it may, since there is no appearance from the side of the petitioner, the present petition is, hereby, dismissed-in-default.
