% 01.03.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of communication dated 3rd January, 2018 whereby his application for grant of parole on the ground that the father of the petitioner has expired and the property had to be partitioned and for re-establishing social ties was rejected. Nominal Roll has been handed over by learned proxy counsel for learned Standing Counsel for the State. As per the Nominal Roll, after the communication dated 3rd January, 2018, petitioner was granted furlough for a period of three weeks w.e.f. 1st February, 2018 to 22nd February, 2018. Since the petitioner has already been granted furlough for a period of W.P.(CRL) 259/2018
three weeks w.e.f. 1st February, 2018 to 22nd February, 2018, this Court finds no ground to quash the communication dated 3rd January, 2018. Petition is dismissed.
A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
