BAIL APPLN. 756/2020 3.

The petitioner has filed the present petition inter alia, seeking interim bail for a period of thirty days, to attend her sister's wedding. 4.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with FIR No. 0097/2012, under Sections 302/201 of the IPC, registered with Police Station Prasad Nagar.

It is alleged that the deceased (Lakhan Sharma) was in a live-in relationship with the petitioner. And, the petitioner had conspired with two other co-accused who had killed Lakhan Sharma. They had put the body of the deceased in a jute bag and had thrown it near the military wall of Bapa Nagar, Delhi. The body was discovered later.

The petitioner was arrested on 26.05.2012 and has been in custody since then.

The status report has been filed, wherein the fact that the wedding ceremony of the petitioner's sister is scheduled to be held on 26.03.2020 in Village Nagria Kalan, Sher Garh, Bahedi, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, has been verified.

Considering that the petitioner has been in custody for a considerable period of time, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 9.

The petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for a period of one week from the date of her release in order to enable her to attend her sister's wedding. She shall be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with two sureties of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall directly proceed to Bareilly to attend her sister's wedding ceremony and shall surrender to the jail authorities immediately on her return. The petitioner shall not visit any other place. The petitioner shall provide her contact number and ensure that she is reachable at all times. 10.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 11.
