This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 4 month.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired on 20.03.2025. 3.

occurred on account of the voluminous nature of the documents and records. Further, the arguments have been concluded by both the parties and the Award is also reserved.

For the said reasons, issue notice 5.
Mr. Gajwani, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. In addition, both the parties have concluded their arguments and the Award has also been reserved. 7.
In this view of the matter, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 4 months from today to publish the Arbitral Award.

The period from 20.03.2025 till today stands regularised. 9.
The petition is disposed of.
