In terms of communication dated 10.04.2026, the petitioner herein was granted first spell of furlough for the current conviction year for the period of three weeks. However, he could not avail furlough as his co-convict in the same case is already on parole and is likely to surrender on 24.04.2026. 2.
Learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for State appears on advance notice and submits that immediately after the surrender of the abovesaid co-convict Jeet Dahiya, petitioner herein would be permitted to avail the abovesaid furlough on his complying with the conditions contained in communication dated 10.04.2026.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner, at this juncture, does not press for any further relief. He, however, submits that in case he is not granted the abovesaid benefit even on 25.04.2026, he may be permitted to file petition afresh before this Court.
