The present petition assails an order dated 25.02.2025 passed by the District Magistrate (West), Government of NCT of Delhi in Eviction Case No. 1033/DCW/2024 filed by the respondent no.3 (Kusum Lata) along with Smt. Nirmala Rani under Rule (3)(1)(i) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2016. 2.
Concededly, the aforesaid order is appealable under Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been constrained to file the present petition since the appeal filed by the petitioner is not being considered and dealt with by the concerned Appellate Authority i.e., the concerned Divisional Commissioner (respondent no.2 herein). 4.

instructions, that the appeal preferred by the petitioner shall be decided by the Appellate Authority expeditiously and in any event within a period of six weeks from today.
