The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition is that a fresh passport be issued to the petitioner pursuant to the issuance of a fresh birth certificate by the respondent no. 2 / Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) changing his date of birth from 05.10.1999 to 14.09.1999. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 / MCD affirms that on the instructions of the respondent no. 3 / concerned SDM, a fresh birth certificate was issued to the petitioner reflecting the date of birth as 14.09.1999.

The learned counsel of the petitioner highlights from the record that the said date of birth is also reflected in multiple other documents of which the petitioner is in possession. Some of these documents, inter alia, are as follows:- i.

In the aforesaid circumstances, there is no impediment in reckoning the petitioner's date of birth to be 14.09.1999. The respondent no. 1 / Union of India is directed to process the petitioner's request for change in date of birth accordingly.
