This application has been filed jointly by the parties under Order XXIII Rule 3 CPC. It is submitted that parties have settled the disputes; that the petitioner/tenant shall hand over possession of the subject premises to the respondent/landlord on or before 08.05.2024 and at that time, the respondent/landlord shall hand over to the petitioner/tenant a demand draft of Rs.5,00,000/- towards cost of furniture and fittings belonging to the petitioner/tenant and left in the subject premises. Further, the petitioner/tenant also has agreed to withdraw this petition in view of the said settlement.

Having spoken with learned counsel for both sides, I am satisfied that the dispute stands settled by way of lawful compromise.
