judgment dated 07th February, 2024 passed by the Division Bench in W.P.(C) No. 1789/2024 and W.P.(C) No. 1762/2024. 2.
By way of the aforesaid judgment, the learned Division Bench had directed the respondents to conduct re-examination for the right forearm of the petitioners by a newly constituted Medical Board and decide whether the petitioners are fit for appointment in accordance with the 'Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination in Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles, 2015'.

Today, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has handed over a letter dated 10th May, 2024, wherein it is stated that the respondents are in the process of constituting a fresh Medical Board to re-examine the petitioners within a period of five days. The said letter submitted by learned counsel for the respondents, is taken on record. 4.
The respondents are held bound by the aforesaid statement. It is directed that the Medical Examination of the petitioners shall be conducted by the newly constituted Medical Board and requisite orders be passed in terms of the directions passed by the Division Bench, as aforesaid. 5.
With the aforesaid directions, the present petitions are disposed of. 6.
However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to revive the present petitions, in case of any non-compliance by the respondents.
