Present Public Interest petition has been filed on behalf of minor children by their next friend, inter alia seeking a direction to the respondent No.1-Govt. of NCT of Delhi to cancel allotment of land i.e., Khasra No.1915/2 to respondent No. 2 - Directorate of Education and allow the use of said land for sport activities.

Learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, on instructions, states that a school building has already been constructed on Khasra No. 1915/2. 3.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners states that Khasra No.1890 adjacent to Khasra No.1915/2 is available for park/sports activities. Since the said relief has not been sought, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation with the respondent No.1. In the event, such a representation is filed within two weeks, the same is directed to be disposed of by way of speaking order within four weeks thereafter.

In the event, the petitioners are aggrieved by the decision disposing of their representation, they shall be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
