HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE C. HARI SHANKAR HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY DIGPAUL ORDER (ORAL) % 27.03.2025 C. HARI SHANKAR, J.
1.
This writ petition assails the following order passed by the Armed Forces Tribunal1 on 9 August 2024 :
"MA 2310/2024 This is an application filed seeking early hearing of OA 1989/2023. Considering the fact that the application is of the year 2023, for the present no case for out of turn hearing is made out. That apart, the applicant has not supplied the copy of the impugned order to the respondents, learned counsel for the applicant is granted two weeks' time to do so. Accordingly, MA stands dismissed."
1 "the AFT", hereinafter KUMAR 18:31:25 W.P.(C) 3863/2025
2.
We find no error whatsoever in the Tribunal refusing the application for early hearing. The Tribunal has noted that the OA was filed by the petitioner only in 2023.
3.
We are aware of the volume of the work which the Tribunal is grappling with, day in and day out. There is no cause whatsoever for us to interfere with the impugned order. The Tribunal would deal with the petitioner's application on its own turn, as per priority and keeping in mind the age of the OA.
4.
The writ petition is dismissed.
