The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 151 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 ('CPC') seeking the following reliefs: "(a) pass appropriate directions for expeditious disposal of eviction petition titled as "Mamta Verma Vs. Vipin Kumar, being RCARC NO.126/2023, pending before the court of Ms. Pragati, Ld. SCJ/RC, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi and hear arguments on leave to defend application and application under Section 151 CPC for subsequent events filed by the respondent, in the Eviction Petition titled as RC ARC No. 126/2023 titled as Mamta Verma Vs. Vipin Kumar on the date already fixed i.e.19.05.2026."

The learned Trial Court is proceeding with the matters in accordance with its own board, after keeping in view the pendency and age of cases before it.
