The petitioner is the mother of the prisoner concerned and she has filed this petition seeking the prisoner to be released on parole. The right of the petitioner to move parole request is on the basis of Rule 1213 (i) of the Delhi Prison Rules 2018. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that her request for parole has not been decided by the Competent Authority till date. 3.

However, learned counsel for the respondent appearing on advance intimation submits that the parole application of the mother of the prisoner was dismissed vide order dated 26.03.2025.
