O R D E R

By an order dated 21st January, 2015, this court had directed notices to be issued inter alia to the GNCTD; Indraprastha Power

Generation Co. Ltd.; Pragati Power Corporation Ltd. and National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. (NTPC) to furnish details regarding the working of the power plants, including number of workers, etc. as well as study of occupational hazards to the employees working in these power plants.

On the 10th of April 2017, we had noted that the Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd. and the Rajghat Power Plant have been shut down w.e.f. 31st May, 2015 and their permanent closure is underway.

So far as the NTPC is concerned, it has filed a detailed affidavit dated 25th April, 2015.

Our order dated 27th May, 2015 notes that notices stand served on the trade unions of the Badarpur Thermal Power Station. None of the trade unions of the NTPC have appears to object to the steps taken by the NTPC or have made submissions regarding existence of occupational hazards and their redressal. 5.

It is submitted by Mr. Puneej Taneja, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.4 - NTPC that adequate measures have been taken by the NTPC and that its workers are fully satisfied.

There appears to be substance in this submission. 6.

So far as the Rajghat Power Station is concerned, certain suggestions stand made byMr. Ashok Agarwal, learned counsel for Trade Union, Delhi Power Generation Karamchari Sangathan. However, inasmuch as the Rajghat Power Plant has been shut

down, no further steps in this regard are warranted. 7.

In view of the above, the concerns recorded by this court on the 21st of January 2015 appear to have been addressed and this petition does not need to detain this court any further. 8.
