Looking at the nature of the grievance raised in the instant writ petition, the Court is of the opinion that the same can be agitated before the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) in terms of Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

This Court in W.P. (C) 10079/2024 titled as Mr. Amrit Singh v. BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. (BRPL) and Anr., wherein almost a similar controversy was involved, has relegated the petitioner to the CGRF to ventilate his grievance.

In view of the aforesaid the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the CGRF in terms of Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003. If the petitioner does so, let his grievance be considered in accordance with law.
