The prayer in this petition was that the respondents were wilfully and deliberately disobeying the judgement of 08th October 2013 of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.9096/2013.

The issue dealt with by the Supreme Court related to interpretation of Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995, and various directions issued thereunder.

Considering that, the prayer in this petition is restricted, an issue was raised by the Court on 07th December 2023 regarding whether this petition is maintainable before this Court.

directions in similar situations relating to the rights of disabled persons. 5.

In this regard, he, therefore, seeks permission to withdraw this petitioner with liberty to file a fresh petition, seeking appropriate prayer in regard orders passed by this Court.

It has been made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 8.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner.
