This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the matter is at the final stage of arguments and thereafter the award needs to be pronounced.

Mr. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 8.

and there is no objection by the respondent, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal needs to be extended.

In this view, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. The period from 27.03.2025 till today stands regularised.
