O R D E R

Pursuant to the order dated 15.05.2019 on which date the matter was directed to be listed for compliance today, learned counsel for the respondent states that his client has paid a sum of Rs.28,000/- to the petitioner towards arrears of maintenance. He states that entire amount payable by the respondent to the petitioner w.e.f. February, 2016, till date comes to Rs.1,83,000/- in terms of the order dated 22.02.2016 passed in Mat. APP. (F.C.) No. 134/15.

After adjusting the sum of Rs.1,51,000/-, already paid, the balance amount shall be remitted into the account of the petitioner through RTGS within two weeks from today.

The aforesaid order has been passed without prejudice to the right of the respondent to claim adjustment from the amounts payable to the petitioner as maintenance in terms of the latest order dated 06.06.2019, passed by the Judge, Family Court in MT No. 64/18.

In view of the substantial compliances of the order dated 22.02.2016 made by the respondent, the present petition is disposed of. HIMA KOHLI, J ASHA MENON, J JULY 31, 2019/MK
