This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to grant parole in case FIR No. 180/2010 under Sections 302/34 IPC registered at PS: Kanjhawala for a period of 03 months along with personal bond. 4.
It is stated by learned counsel for the Petitioner that application for parole was made before Competent Authority on 09.02.2024, however, till date the same is pending, compelling the Petitioner to approach this Court. Learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State and seeks a period of two weeks to dispose of the application.

Assurance given on behalf of the State is taken on record. The application for parole will be disposed of by Competent Authority in accordance with law and Delhi Prison Rules, 2018 within two weeks from today.

Copy of the decision will be communicated to Petitioner within three days thereafter, who will be at liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies available in law, in case of any surviving grievance. 9.
