The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "a. Quash or remove the name Of The Petitioner No. 1 Namely Hans Raj Singh From The Surveillance Register Of The Delhi Police And to provide the Protection Of Life And Liberty From The Delhi Police Officials to the Petitioner and his family members, saving from the lacunas of law, as per law in the interest of Justice and Equity to avoid illegality and injustice being caused to the Petitioner. b. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is being threatened by the Police that he will be arrested in connection with some Kalandara. He further prays for the removal of the petitioner‟s name from the surveillance register of Delhi Police.

Issue notice. Learned Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice. On instructions, he submits that the name of the petitioner is not there in the surveillance register of the Delhi Police. Therefore, the prayer seeking removal of petitioner‟s name from the said register is not maintainable. 6.

He further submits that the Police has no intention to arrest the present petitioner in as much as there is no case registered against the present petitioner in Police Station Raj Park.

In view of the above statement of the learned Standing Counsel for the State, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for the present petition.
