% 29.05.2020 The status report along with CCTV footage has been filed on behalf of the State.

The applicant has also sent through e-mail the settlement deed dated 26.5.2020 arrived at between the complainant and the applicant Ankush Chauhan. It is further submitted on behalf of the applicant that the interim protection granted initially vide orders dated 6.5.2020 and 11.5.2020 be extended further.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted by the learned APP for the State that in view of the CCTV footage, the prayer is opposed, though it is submitted fairly on behalf of the State that the factum of the settlement having been effected between the petitioner and the complainant has to be verified by the Investigating Officer.

Taking into account, the submissions made on behalf of the applicant and by learned counsel for the complainant vouching the correctness of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 26.5.2020 having been arrived at between the complainant and the applicant, in the interest of justice, it is considered appropriate that in the event of the arrest, the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendent, Delhi with the directions that he shall not leave the country, shall join the investigation of the case as and when required and shall not commit any offence whatsoever. In the event of any FIR being registered against the applicant, the State shall bring it to the notice of the Court forthwith. The Bail Appln. No. 831/2020 is disposed of.
