This application has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.560/2014 dated 28.07.2014 under Sections 302/34 IPC registered at PS: Ranhola.

Status report is handed over in Court and is taken on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant is in judicial custody from 02.09.2014 and has suffered long incarceration. It is further stated that the matter has been pending before the learned Trial Court since the year 2019 at the stage of final arguments. 4.

Learned APP, per contra, urges that the bail application be dismissed as the allegations are serious and the witnesses have completely supported the case of the prosecution. Therefore, at this fag end if the applicant is released on bail, there are chances that he may abscond fearing conviction. 5.

application but insists that a direction be issued to the learned Trial Court to conclude the final hearing on the next date as the arguments on behalf of the State are being heard.

Application is disposed of as withdrawn, making it clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. Considering that the matter is pending at the stage of final arguments since 2019, learned Trial Court is requested to ensure that the arguments are heard and concluded, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on the next date of hearing. No unnecessary adjournment will be granted to either side for final arguments.
