By way of this petition under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in connection with FIR No. 150/2019, dated 05.05.2019, registered at Police Station Khyala, under Sections 376 and 206 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 2.

After some arguments, Mr. Mohit Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this bail application. However, he seeks expedition of the proceedings before the Trial Court. 3.

Having regard to the period of custody of the petitioner, the Trial Court is requested to consider the prayer for expeditious conclusion of the trial, in accordance with its own Board and age of matters pending before it.
