The petitioner has filed the present application seeking interim bail in connection with FIR No. 717/2017 under Section 302/34 IPC and Section 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered with P.S. Dabri. 6.

The petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground that he is a patient of chronic asthma and, therefore, is at a higher risk in view of the prevalent pandemic. He also seeks interim bail to attend to his father who is stated to

have suffered an accident. The petitioner states that his father was injured in a road accident and an FIR No. 31/2020 in this regard was registered at P.S. Mandir Marg. He has also produced medical documents, which show that his father's leg has been plastered and he is being treated. 7.

The fact that the petitioner has been suffering from a chronic asthma has been verified. It has also been verified that the petitioner's father was involved in an accident and has fractured his leg. Considering the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition and grant interim bail to the petitioner for a period of eight weeks from the date of his release. The petitioner shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. This is also subject to the following further conditions:- (a) that the petitioner shall provide a contact number and ensure that it is reachable at all timers; (b) that the petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi;

(c) that the petitioner shall confine himself to his residence and not benture out except for purchasing the essential provisions or medicines; and (d) The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities immediately on the expiry of the aforesaid period of eight weeks.

The Jail Authorities shall act on the basis of this order as uploaded on the website of this Court without any further communication.
