On the last date of hearing, it was noted that during the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner restricted his prayer to the grant of interim bail to enable him to look after his minor daughter. It was also submitted that the applicant's daughter is living along with her grandparents and there is no one else in the family except his mother, who has also suffered spinal injuries.

On oral prayer of the applicant, it was directed that the verification be conducted.

Pursuant to the above direction, a status report has been received through email. As per the status report, it has been verified that the petitioner's mother is under treatment/bedridden. In the status report, it has also been mentioned that during verification some old prescription of the
applicant's daughter Versha were shown. The local police have verified medical documents of both, the applicant's daughter as well as his mother. 4.
So far as the applicant is concerned, a medical status report was received from the Jail, as per which, though the applicant is suffering from Schizophrenia, his condition is found to be stable. 5.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the applicant is admitted to interim bail for a period of 45 days, on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, resolution dated 07.04.2020 of the 'High Powered Committee' and the consequent order dated 09.04.2020 passed by Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(CRL.) 779/2020 titled as "Court Of Its Motion v. State", the requirement of furnishing a surety bond is dispensed with. However, the grant of interim bail is subject to the following further conditions:- (i) The applicant shall provide his mobile contact number to the concerned SHO/IO SI Vikram (M-9289000006).
(ii) The applicant shall not try to get in touch directly or indirectly with the complainant or any other prosecution witness and shall not make any effort to tamper with the evidence. (iii) The applicant will report to the local Police Station Kote Gate, Distt. Bikaner (Rajasthan) on every Monday at 10 a.m. during the period of his release on interim bail. In case of any travel restrictions, the said condition shall be complied with by reporting telephonically or through any other electronic means. (iv) At the expiry of the interim bail period, the applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.
