The present application has been filed by the State seeking directions. 2.

Today, the case has been taken up on special mentioning by the learned Counsel for the State.

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus for a direction to the Respondents to produce the minor niece of the Petitioner who went missing on 16.12.2024. A Status Report has been handed over by the State during the course of hearing.

The Status Report indicates that the missing girl presented herself before the Sarai Rohilla Police Station on 21.04.2025. It is stated that the parents and the uncle, i.e. the Petitioner herein, were informed. The Status Report further indicates that MLC of the minor child has been conducted and no physical assault has been observed in the MLC. 6.

We have interacted with the minor girl and her mother. The girl states that she wants to go back to her parents and reside with them. The mother of the girl is also keen on taking the girl with her. 7.

Since the girl has been found, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.

The date already fixed in the matter, i.e. 01.05.2025, stands cancelled.
