By way of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner assails a freezing order dated 06.09.2021, issued by the respondent, in connection with Narcotics Control Bureau ["NCB"] Case No. VIII/25/DZU/2019, under Sections 22(c)/23/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 ["NDPS Act"], lodged at NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit.

Mr Arun Khatri, learned Standing Counsel for NCB, submits that the aforesaid freezing order was placed before the competent authority under Section 68(F)(2) of the NDPS Act, 1985, and was confirmed by an order dated 05.10.2021. A copy of the said order has been handed up in Court, and is taken on record. The said order reveals that learned counsel for the petitioner was also heard before the competent authority. Neither the proceedings before the competent authority in which the petitioner participated through counsel, nor the order of the competent authority finds any mention in the petition.

At this stage, Mr Chitwan Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the petition. 5.
The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
