Pursuant to the previous order of 28th March 2025, counsel for Indian Olympic Association ('IOA') appears and states that they have recently been briefed in the matter.

She states on instructions that IOA has requisitioned all the supporting documents on behalf of petitioner as well as the Curling Federation of India in order to ascertain who would qualify to be the National Sports Federation ('NSF') for the sport of Curling, which is a winter Olympic sport.

She states that this process may take some time, and that said decision will be taken within next 8 weeks.

The IOA shall take its decision as to which bodies may be affiliated through it (IOA) in order that they may be ultimately recognised as the NSF by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Decision in this regard will be taken within next 8 weeks, provided the documentation is received from the petitioner and Curling Federation of India.

weeks, this petition is disposed of.

Liberty is given to petitioner to revive the petition in case of any continued infraction of directions passed on 17th April 2023 by this Court in W.P. (C) 9896/2021.

The IOA is directed not to dilate the matter any further and take a decision within next 8 weeks.
