Ms. Urvi Mohan, learned counsel who appears for the contesting respondent submits that on account of change of regime of the governing law the petitioner's grievance may have been mitigated. She, therefore, submits that if the petitioner approaches the concerned authority, the appropriate decision shall be taken in accordance with the new Circular dated 14.08.2025.

The said submission seems to be reasonable. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the sub-Registrar for the grievance raised in the instant writ petition. 3.

If the petitioner does so, let appropriate decision be taken and if for any reason the request made by the petitioner is not accepted, let the reason be assigned in writing. The petitioner, thereafter, shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.
