A Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.234/2022 under Section 376 IPC P.S. Nabi Karim, New Delhi.

Briefly stated the parties are known to each other from the past three years and due to temperamental differences and misunderstanding respondent No.2 lodged an FIR against the petitioner under Section 376 IPC at police station Nabi Karim.

The petitioner and respondent No. 2 are present in person and have informed that they had met on Tik Tok and thereafter they became friendly and met at different places. According to the complaint on 24.4.2022 the respondent No.2 while she had come to Delhi to attend a wedding, the petitioner had called her to a location, where he forcibly established physical relationship.

would marry her, but thereafter he refused and consequently the FIR got registered. It is submitted that the petitioner got married in April, 2024 and the marriage of the respondent No.2 has also fixed. Since, both have moved forward in their life, this FIR would hamper in settling of their lives in future.

It is submitted that the parties have already sorted out their all differences with the intervention of their respective persons of the family and they have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. Therefore, the Petition be quashed. 4.

The complainant is present in the Court and submits that the matter stands settled with the petitioner. She has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the petitioner on account of the settlement already arrived at between the parties.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. 6.

Considering the circumstances and the nature of allegations that the two adults developed friendship on Tik Tok, the Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 234/2022 registered at Police Station Nabi Karim, for offences punishable under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the petitioner.

The Petition stands disposed of.
