Order dated 24.03.2023 indicates that learned counsel for Appellant in CRL.A. 88/2018 had submitted that Appellant Ram Nath has since passed away. Copy of the Death Certificate was supplied to learned counsel for the Respondent for verification.

Verification has been carried out by CBI. Death Verification Report dated 05.12.2023 has been placed on record wherein it is stated that the Death Certificate of Appellant Late Ram Nath S/o Lt. Bishan Lal R/o H. No. 192, Gali No. 9, West Guru Angad Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092 has been verified from the office of Sub-Registrar, EDMC, Delhi and has been found to be genuine. Ram Nath has expired on 29.12.2019. Order sheets also indicate that Late Ram Nath was unrepresented by counsel on the last date of hearing.
