The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction against Municipal Corporation of Delhi ["MCD"], from sealing the property No. 389-A, Masjid Moth (front portion), New Delhi. 2.

MCD has filed a status report dated 14.05.2024, in which it is stated that the proceedings for sealing of the premises, initiated vide notice dated 29.05.2023, have been dropped. Although the status report refers to premises No. 389, Masjid Moth, Mr. Abhinav Sharma, learned counsel for MCD, has taken instructions from Mr. Sunil Chauhan, Assistant Engineer, MCD and states that the premises in question is the W.P.(C) 4668/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the fact that MCD has dropped the sealing proceedings against the petitioner's premises, no further orders are required in this writ petition, which is disposed of.

It is made clear that if MCD proposes to take any sealing action against the petitioner's premises, it should give notice of at least three days to the petitioner.

The writ petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
