The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "a) issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction and writ of certirario direction to the respondent to allow the conversion from lease hold to free hold in respect of plot no.93, block-d, pkt-16, sector-07, Rohini measuring 25.09 sqm in Rohini residential scheme b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction in like nature thereby allowing the application of the petitioner for conversion from lease hold to free hold within a week's time as direction has already been passed by this hon'ble court not once but twice." 2.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that earlier also the petitioner had filed a writ petition being W.P.(C) 15353/2024 which was disposed of by this Court directing the respondent DDA to give an opportunity of hearing to the present petitioner and pass a reasoned order. 3.

petitioner is constrained to file the present petition. 4.

In view of the above, issue notice. Ms. Mrinalini Sen, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent DDA accepts notice. 5.

She submits that she has instructions to state that the conversion of the petitioner's property will be done within a period of four weeks. The statement is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. 7.

The petition alongwith pending application stands disposed of. 8.

However, the liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the present petition in case the DDA does not convert the property into freehold as undertaken.
