The Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the punishment ticket dated 14.12.2022 and the appraisal order dated 10.04.2023 for misbehaviour with the staff on duty.

Learned ASC for the State very fairly submits that the punishment ticket does not show that the Petitioner was given a hearing before the punishment was imposed on the Petitioner.

In view of the fair submission given by the learned ASC for the State, this Court is inclined to set aside the punishment ticket dated 14.12.2022 and the appraisal order dated 10.04.2023. The State is directed to pass a reasoned order after hearing the Petitioner.
