This matter has been taken up for hearing by video conferencing, consequent to listing thereof having allowed by the Registrar.

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Movement Pass, in order to enable him to travel to Uttar Pradesh and bring his family members back, as it is stated that they are in dire circumstances. 3.

Mr. Anjum Javed, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, submits that he has instructions, from his clients, to state that the requisite Movement Pass would be issued to the petitioner, subject to petitioner fulfilling formalities in that regard and undergoing a screening to ensure that he is not suffering from the COVID-2019 virus.

Mr. Javed also submits that he would communicate, to Mr.Sinha, telephonically, the number of the SDM, Preet Vihar, who is to be contacted in this regard.

Mr. Sinha submits that, with the said assurance, the grievance in the writ petition stands redressed.

Accordingly, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Noting the aforesaid undertaking submitted by Mr. Anjum Javed, by which the respondent shall remain bound, this writ petition is disposed of.
