2. The refund has been received by the Assessee. However, it is clarified that depending upon the outcome of the proceedings in the Supreme Court regarding payment of interest from the date of filing of the return or claim for refund, it will be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law the issue of interest on refund.
