% 04.04.2019 This batch of writ petitions have been filed inter alia seeking a direction against the respondent No.1 to take appropriate steps to provide the electricity connection. Learned counsel for the respondent No.1 had on

April 02, 2019 submitted that the property being unauthorised, no connection can be granted. It is a matter of record that the electricity connections have been disconnected in the properties, pursuant to a direction given by the Division Bench in a PIL being W.P. (C) 11236/2017. I have been informed that the said writ petition was ultimately dismissed on the ground of lack of bona fide on the part of the petitioner therein. In any case, since the electricity connections have been disconnected on the direction given by the Division Bench, appropriate for the petitioners is to approach the Division Bench for seeking appropriate orders.

With the aforesaid, the writ petitions are closed. Dasti.
