Bail Appln.No.923/2020 The applicant in the instant case seeks extension of interim bail granted to the applicant for a period of two months. A perusal of the record indicates that the applicant was granted interim bail on 13.3.2020 on the premise that the wife of the petitioner was advised surgery for micro-discectomy dissection with local steroid infiltration with ozone therapy on 16.03.2020 and had to be operated upon as a matter of choice in view of the prevailing pandemic situation. Vide order dated 25.3.2020 in W.P.URGENT2/2020, this Court suo motu has extended all interim orders as were to expire thereof till the date 15.5.2020. Furthermore vide order dated 9.5.2020 in W.P.(C) No. 3080/2020, this Court suo motu in view of the prevailing pandemic has
extended the interim bails granted previously for a further period of 45 days. Thus without any observations on the merits or demerits of the averments that have been made in the application in view of the orders dated 25.3.2020 and order dated 9.5.2020 of this Court referred to hereinabove, the interim bail granted to the applicant is extended for a further period of 45 days from the date when he was to surrender, that was today i.e., 15.5.2020, on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 13.3.2020. It is undertaken by the counsel for the petitioner that the person who has stood surety for the applicant pursuant to the order dated 13.3.2020 in Bail Application No. 650/2020, shall continue to remain surety of the applicant. The application is disposed of.
